Bethel Fahse, age 94, of Olivia died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the RC Hospital in Olivia. Funeral services are Saturday, July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Of Calvary Lutheran Church in Olivia with Rev. Matt Hausken officiating. Burial is in the Olivia Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday at the church for one hour prior to the funeral.

Bethel Glynnis Fahse was born January 13, 1923 on the family farm near Delhi, MN, to Arthur E. and Stella M. (Wolff) Stellmacher. Bethel graduated from Danube High School. She married Lloyd C. Fahse on May 23, 1944 at Emmanuel Evangelical Church in Olivia and they were blessed with three children. They lived and farmed at rural Olivia and Lloyd passed away in 1994. Bethel was a faithful member of Cross Of Calvary Lutheran Church in Olivia where she was active in quilting for missions. She had enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, and doing embroidery. When Bethel moved off the farm she resided in Olivia and most recently at Prairie View Assisted Living in Hector.
Bethel is survived by her three children: Glynnis Fahse of Mesa, AZ, Joanne (and John) Molstre of Moorhead, and Ron (and Linda) Fahse of Olivia; her five grandchildren: Kristina (and Andrew) Ralston, Kathryn (and Thomas) Allen, Benjamin (and Jessica) Molstre, Matthew (and Jenny) Fahse, and Justin Fahse (and his special friend Kelsey Leng); her seven great-grandchildren; her two nieces and one nephew. Bethel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lloyd; her brother and sister-in-law Glynn and Lorraine Stellmacher; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lloyd and Verna Rasmussen.
