Delores Reich, age 90, of Olivia died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Olivia Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. A time of visitation will be held Sunday January 6th from 1-3 p.m. at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia. A memorial service and burial in the Olivia Cemetery will be held in the Spring.
Delores Isabell Reich was born September 13, 1928 at Roseland, MN, to Emil and Tillie (Kostka) Stuhr. Delores married Marvin Reich on December 14, 1946 and they were blessed with five children. Marv and Delores made their home in Willmar until 1954 when they moved to Olivia. Delores was a bookkeeper at Sheep Shedde Motel for many years. She had been a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and canning. Delores also loved to drive everywhere and anywhere. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time and visiting with family and friends.
Delores is survived by her five children: Marv (and Stephanie) Reich, Diane Jensen, Sandy Hoffman, Gary (and Diane) Reich and Susan (and Tom) Schroepfer; her 10 grandchildren: Stacey (and James) Mainez, Ashley (and Dan) Pearson, Shay (and Ainsley) Jensen, Josh Hoffman (and Brandon Johnson), Matt Hoffman (and Janessa Markgraf), Dustin (and Jen) Reich, Danny (and Leigh) Reich, Corrie (and Craig) Jennissen, Brad Clouse (and Tanna Bagaus), and Nick Clouse (and Vanessa Burmeister); five great-grandchildren: Nora and Ella Jennissen, Wesson, Wyatt, and William Reich; and her brother Vernon Stuhr. Delores was preceded in death by her husband Marvin; her grandson Tyler Jensen; son-in-law Jeff Hoffman; her brothers: Lawrence, Arthur, Wesley, Stanley, Dale and Emil; and her sisters: Leona and Dorothy.
