I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
Karri, some of the things I remember about Aunt MaryAnn, was that she was such a good cook! The Christmas meals that we had at your home were something I especially looked forward to! Also she kept your home, yard and flowers so beautiful and that showed some of her other talents. It kind of seems silly some of the things that stay in ones mind from childhood but I am so thankful for those memories. Now that it is all I have of her and Uncle Allen, I treasure them even more! I remember so clearly when you became a part of their family (and therefore a part of ours!) so clearly. Though our times together in later years were few and far between, I am so grateful to have known her and what I learned from her. I pray God's comfort and peace for you, Karri and all who will miss her.

Dirks-Blem Funeral Service offers many styles of services to honor the memory of your loved one. Funerals should be meaningful, reflect the individual, and celebrate the life they led. Personalized funerals are more involved, giving people a chance to remember what made that individual so unique.
