Teddy Clouse, age 45, of Olivia died at his home under the care of hospice on Friday, September 14, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, September 20th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia with Rev. Joe Steinbeisser as celebrant. Visitation for Teddy is Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and continues Thursday at the church for one hour prior to the mass. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Theodore Robert Clouse was born May 15, 1973 to Robert and Elaine (Toupal) Clouse. Teddy grew up in Olivia and graduated from BOLD High School. After this he attended college at St. Cloud State. Teddy worked as a carpenter for several years for Triad and Triplett Construction in Olivia. He was then employed as a bartender first at Olivia Liquor and Lounge and now for many years at Max’s in Olivia. Teddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and taking his dog Cooper for walks. He especially enjoyed following all Minnesota sports teams.
Teddy is survived by his mother Elaine Clouse of Olivia; his siblings: Mike Clouse of Olivia, Tom Clouse of Redwood Falls, Doug (and Leanne) Clouse of Cottage Grove, Laurie (and Casey) McLaughlin of Waterloo, Iowa, Gary Clouse of Olivia, Greg (and Joan) Clouse of Olivia, and Tracy (and Mike) Wedl of Minneapolis; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Teddy was preceded in death by his father Robert Clouse.
