Jeffrey Lynn Bratsch was born July 6, 1960 at Redwood Falls, MN, to Wendell and Mary Jo (Toussaint) Bratsch. He grew up on the family farm south of Danube. Jeff was involved in FFA and in 1977 participated in the People to People tour they took to Europe. He graduated from Danube High School in 1978 and had enjoyed being on the Hawks track team. Jeff then worked at K&M Manufacturing and Morton Granite Quarry. In 1979 he started his employment at SMBSC and retired from there in 2012 as maintenance supervisor. While at SMBSC he enlisted in the Navy where he did three years on the JFK aircraft carrier. He also spent six more years in the Army Reserves both in Redwood Falls and Olivia. Jeff met Lynn Givan of Colorado and after being together since 1983 were married January 9, 2002. They enjoyed traveling and made many trips together to the United Kingdom. He really liked time spent mowing his yard and as many know Jeff always enjoyed blowing things up.
