Steven Todd Kuiken, age 54, of Renville, passed away on March 5, 2020, in Renville, Minnesota. After Covid and other factors our celebration is finally possible. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at the water tower park in Renville. Please bring your own chair. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville, MN.
Steven Todd Kuiken was born in Olivia, Minnesota on December 27, 1965, to Kenneth and Lorraine (Agre) Kuiken. Over the years, he worked at Jennie-O, Willmar Poultry, Northern States Supply, J ona Contracting, Duininck Construction, and Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Co-op. Steve loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his dogs Duke and Cali. He was an excellent pool player, loved playing cards (Buc and Rummy), loved to grill and he made the best jerky! One of Steve’s favorite sayings was “See you around if you don’t turn square!”
He is survived by his children: Amber, Josh, and Talia; his grandchildren: Austen, Isaac, Landon, Tristan, Freya, Taylor, and Brooklyn; his siblings: Ron, Pete, Deb (and Mike) Lessard, Randy (and Corey), and Don (and Vicky); his step mother Joey Kuiken; his Godmother Gen Agre; and his uncle Larry (and Janet) Agre; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and Darrin Kuiken and Jody Kuiken.
