I was a teacher that came to OZ with Curt (son) , When we first came we did not know our future I thought I would do my contracted two years then go back home. Fate took over relationships / job /adventure / feeling like pioneers a few of us stayed.. Main drawback was not watching cousins / brothers/ friends grow up and also seeing mom and dad not as many times as one would like.( telephone calls were expensive no internet back then) Every few years one would get back but it felt like a glimpse in time.. My dad passed away when he was only 67 and mom 89 I got to see them just previous to their passing. Both me and Curt have retired and we probably wonder when our time is up. My best wishes to all the Drahiem's if thy are anything like Curt they have a free pass to the Pearly Gates
