Dwayne James Westphal was born February 4, 1957 in Olivia, MN, to Chester and Agnes (Bonine) Westphal. He grew up north of Danube, MN. Dwayne was a truck driver, working for his brother Eugene at Westphal Trucking. After Eugene’s passing, he continued trucking on his own with DW Transportation. He was an “over million mile” man, known as “Little Nervous” on the road. He absolutely loved his trucks and hitting the open road. He has passed that love to his sons, Jason and Scott. Dwayne was a family man who never missed a family event, sick or not. He always bragged about his children and grandkids. He will be remembered for his wild side, his love for trucks and life, dedication to his family, and for talking hours on the phone.
Dwayne is survived by his children: Jason (Jenny) Westphal, Scott (Jessica) Westphal, Brad Westphal, Kim (Casey) Lippert; his seven grandchildren: Jacob, Dylan, Kale, Lilly, Noah, Lacey, and Jayda; his sister, Donna Lalim; and many nieces and nephews. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon, and brothers, Roger and Eugene.
