Lee Alvin Stark was born December 12, 1962 in Hutchinson, MN to Albert and Lillian (Westphal) Stark. He attended Buffalo Lake High School and graduated in 1982. Lee started working for the family construction business, Stark Brothers Construction, at an early age before taking over the company with his brother in 1986. Following his construction career, he transitioned to trucking. Lee worked in construction and trucking for over 40 years.
Lee loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Mexico was his favorite destination, and he traveled there each year for over 20 years with his close friends. His great-nephews, “the boys”, were one of his greatest sources of joy. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, sharing stories and laughter, and was forever in pursuit of a good steak and lobster dinner.
Lee is survived by his brother Doug (Darla) Stark of Gibbon, MN and sister Nyla Emmons (special friend Vern Flemming) of Bird Island, MN; his nieces Brea (Brian) Schultes of Shoreview, MN, Jamie Donovan of Winthrop, MN and nephew Steven Stark of Hector, MN; and his five great-nephews Torren, Kieran, Keegan, Liam and Leonidas. Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
