Joyceann Anderson, age 86, of Willmar and formerly of Lake Lillian, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Scandia House in Willmar. A public visitation will be Sunday, March 14th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at United Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian. Private family services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Svea Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are with K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian.
Joyceann Josephine Anderson was born January 24, 1935 to Herbert and Mabel (Olson) Christianson. She was baptized and confirmed at Svea Lutheran Church.
She grew up on a farm near the east side of Kandiyohi Lake. She attended school in Atwater and graduated from Atwater High School. Joyceann married Wallace Anderson on July 10, 1954 at Svea Lutheran Church. They lived on a farm between Blomkest and Lake Lillian and were blessed with three children. Joyceann was a member of United Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved cooking and having family and friends as guests in their home. Joyceann cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyceann is survived by her two daughters: Jolene (and Brent) Garberich of Atwater and JoEllen (and Tim) Rosendahl of Clara City; her grandchildren: James (and Laken) Anderson of Texas, Todd Anderson (and Nikki) of Kandiyohi, Shaun (and Sarah) Remmel of Willmar, Crystal Garberich of Cokato, Nicholas (and Anna) Rosendahl of Clear Lake, and Mitch (and Hannah) Rosendahl of Cloquet; her great-grandchildren Kolten, Levi, and Wyatt Anderson; Kayden and Nora Rosendahl; Grace Rosendahl; and Hanah Gomez. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wallace Anderson; son Rick Anderson; and brothers Aldon Christianson and Delroy Christianson.
