Aunt Vivian was always a part of my life. I didn't get to see her as often as the years went by, but it seems whenever there was an extended- family gathering, Vivian and Bev were there-the trip to CA at the Cayucos beach house 2001, the reunions in Colorado and in Maine. And the last reunion in MN in 2012. And of course, the many, many trips our family made to MN when we were kids. I will always cherish those memories. And the kindness and thoughtfulness of my wonderful aunts, always remembering birthdays/anniversaries/Christmas. Always.
I will miss her on this side of eternity but I know we will have the best reunion one day when we all pass from this earth. Love you Aunt Vivian. And much love to Aunt Bev as she grieves her sad loss.

I don't have a memory of Aunt Vivian and Aunt Bev not being together. If there was a family event or get together...they were there. Summers were the best. Going to their house and getting to know our cousins. Playing board games, doing crafts, riding bikes and gardening. All the neighbor kids knew them too. . They would just drop by and say Hi.
Later in life, she kept herself busy with projects from church. I remember she crocheted angels from pages of a hymnal. She kept some of the "original" artwork I have made over the years, I will miss her very much. She was an awesome supporter of family, church and education. I am so grateful to have an aunt like her. I am sure many rejoiced when she entered heaven including my mom, Joyce Lundquist. But WE will miss her.

We enjoyed many years of Christmas Eve dinners with Aunts Vivian and Bev joining us. Always pleasant and sweet and a joy to have around. I loved how they would drive and camp all over in their camping van. They were an inspiration.
Because I grew up far away in California, I did not have the fortune of experiences with her as a child. But I have heard all my cousins talk about how much fun she made life for them. I was able to know her better as an adult when they would visit and stay with my mom and dad. She was quiet, yet listened and would come up with a good contribution as Randy would define as " pop up wisdom".
I remember when she was in her 60's, she wanted to climb up into our new boat that was parked in our driveway, but the ladder swung away and she landed on her backside. We were all terrified that she would be lame for life, but she instantly "popped up", brushed herself off and continued enjoying herself. She was my "pop up" Aunt Vivian and was loved.
I will see you again in heaven. Give Doug a big hug for me. Until we meet again... Your Niece, Diane

Miss Lightfoot was my teacher during summer school in Hutchinson around 1970. It was a class on outdoor skills. I used some of those skills throughout my life. Thank you. My condolences. Kevin Lee. Seward,Alaska.

Ms Lightfoot was my gym teacher in Hutchinson. She introduced us to President Kennedy’s fitness program and the Chicken Fat Song! I remember being scared of her until another teacher Ms Falconer my neighbor and mother’s friend had a dinner party. I was 12 years old. I helped make the dinner and made a dessert, served the meal and pretty much stayed quiet pouring coffee or tea as needed. I would hear all the teachers laughing and enjoying the evening. My condolences. Jennie Abbott Zimmermann
