Obituary of Ryan Hebrink

Ryan Mitchell Hebrink, age 40, of Willmar, formerly of Renville, died Monday, May 23, 2022, north of Sacred Heart from injuries received in an auto accident.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church north of Renville.  The Rev. Anna Williamson will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Renville.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday all at the church north of Renville.  Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville, MN.

Ryan was born in Willmar, MN on May 20th 1982, to Steve and Nancy (Ekstrom) Hebrink. He was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City, MN. Ryan grew up on his family farm North of Renville, MN. The farm is where he learned to love the great outdoors. He attended Renville School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and wrestling. Ryan loved all outdoor activities, but especially fishing. If there were fish in the lake, river, or creek he found them. He worked several jobs over the years doing maintenance and safety: West Central Steel in Willmar, Southern MN Sugar Beet plant in Renville, and his most recent job at Minnesota Soy Bean processing plant in Brewster MN.

His greatest accomplishment happened February 7th, 2020 when his daughter Evelyn Marjorie Hebrink was born. From that day forward Ryan’s job was making Evelyn happy. He loved being an uncle playing with his nieces and nephews. Ryan was a kid at heart.

He was greeted at Heavens door by his father Steven Hebrink, grandparents Merlin and Marjorie Hebrink, grandpa Marlin Ekstrom, great Grandparents Bill and Evelyn Hebrink, Cousins Daniel Hebrink, Kyle Hebrink, and Madeline Sanchez.

Survivors include his daughter Miss Evelyn (and her mother Bobbi Jo), his mother Nancy Hebrink of Willmar, his sister and brother: Cherity (and Alex) Perez of Olivia, and Derek (and Christina) Hebrink of Renville; his nieces and nephews: Sophia, Cailynn, Derek, Scarlett, and Tristan Mitchell; his maternal grandmother Shirley Peters, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
